Dar Ul Salam project is a landmark initiative to establish the National Islamic Centre of Wales, envisioned as a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable hub serving both Muslims and wider society. Led by an experienced team with strong backgrounds in leadership, governance, and community development, the project aims to create a centre that will have lasting impact for generations.
Dar Ul Salam is designed to function as a national platform for collaboration among Muslim organisations, scholars, professionals, and community leaders across Wales. The centre seeks to strengthen unity, reduce fragmentation, and support collective progress through education, youth development, wellbeing services, and civic engagement.
The proposed site is a large, modern building in St Mellons Business Park in Cardiff, offering extensive facilities such as prayer halls, classrooms, a library, conference and event spaces, youth and activity centres, wellness facilities, and social areas including a café and restaurant. These spaces are planned to support religious learning, personal development, community cohesion, and economic empowerment.
Guided by the core values of sincerity (Ikhlas), excellence (Ihsan), and trusteeship (Amanah), Dar Ul Salam aims to deliver high standards of service with transparency and accountability. The brochure also outlines the financial requirements of the project and invites the community to contribute through donations and interest-free loans (Qard Hasanah), emphasizing shared responsibility and long-term benefit.

يُعَدُّ مَشْرُوعُ دَارِ السَّلَامِ مُبَادَرَةً رَائِدَةً لِتَأْسِيسِ المَرْكَزِ الإِسْلَامِيِّ الوَطَنِيِّ لِوِيلْز، إِذْ يَتَطَلَّعُ إِلَى أَنْ يَكُونَ صَرْحًا حَيَوِيًّا، شَامِلًا، يَخْدِمُ المُسْلِمِينَ وَالمُجْتَمَعَ الأَوْسَعَ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ. وَيَقُودُ هَذَا المَشْرُوعَ فَرِيقٌ ذُو خِبْرَةٍ وَاسِعَةٍ فِي مَجَالَاتِ القِيَادَةِ وَتَنْمِيَةِ المُجْتَمَعِ، بِهَدَفِ إِنْشَاءِ مَرْكَزًا يُحَقِّقُ أَثَرًا مُسْتَدَامًا لِأَجْيَالٍ قَادِمَةٍ.
وَقَدْ صُمِّمَ مَرْكَزُ دَارِ السَّلَامِ لِيُتِيح فُرصَة ومِسَاحَة لِلتَّعَاوُنِ بَيْنَ المُنَظَّمَاتِ الإِسْلَامِيَّةِ، وَالعُلَمَاءِ، وَالمُخْتَصِّينَ، وَقَادَةِ المُجْتَمَعِ فِي جَمِيعِ أَنْحَاءِ وِيلْز. وَيَسْعَى المَرْكَزُ إِلَى تَعْزِيزِ الوَحْدَةِ، وَتَقْلِيلِ التَّفَرُّقِ، وَدَعْمِ التَّقَدُّمِ الجَمَاعِيِّ مِنْ خِلَالِ التَّعْلِيمِ، وَتَنْمِيَةِ الشَّبَابِ، وَالخَدَمَاتِ المُجتَمَعِيَّة، وَالمُشَارَكَةِ المَدَنِيَّةِ.
وَالمَوْقِعُ المُقْتَرَحُ هُوَ مَبْنًى كَبِيرٌ وَحَدِيثٌ فِي مُنْتَزَهِ سْتِ مِيلُونْز لِلأَعْمَالِ فِي كَارْدِيف، يَضُمُّ مَجْمُوعَةً وَاسِعَةً مِنَ المَرَافِقِ، مِثْلَ قَاعَاتِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَالفُصُولِ الدِّرَاسِيَّةِ، وَمَكْتَبَةٍ، وَقَاعَاتِ المُؤْتَمَرَاتِ وَالفَعَالِيَّاتِ، وَمِسَاحَات لِلشَّبَابِ وَالأَنْشِطَةِ، فَضْلًا عَنْ مَنَاطِقَ اجْتِمَاعِيَّةٍ تَشْمَلُ مَقْهًى وَمَطْعَمًا. وَقَدْ خُطِّطَ لِهَذِهِ المَسَاحَاتِ بَهَدَف أَنْ تَدْعَمَ التَّعَلُّمَ الدِّينِيَّ، وَالتَّنْمِيَةَ الشَّخْصِيَّةَ، وَتَمَاسُكَ المُجْتَمَعِ.
وَيَسْتَنِدُ مَشْرُوعُ دَارِ السَّلَامِ إِلَى قِيَمٍ أَسَاسِيَّةٍ هِيَ: الإِخْلَاصُ، وَالإِحْسَانُ، وَالأَمَانَةُ، وَيَهْدِفُ إِلَى تَقْدِيمِ خِدْمَاتٍ بِمُسْتَوًى عَالٍ مِنَ الجَوْدَةِ. ويُمكِن الاطِلَاع عَلى الكُتَيِّبُ الَّذِي يَتَضَمَّنُ تَفَاصِيلَ الاِحْتِيَاجَاتِ المَالِيَّةِ لِلْمَشْرُوعِ، وَيَدْعُو أَبْنَاءَ المُجْتَمَعِ إِلَى المُسَاهَمَةِ مِنْ خِلَالِ التَّبَرُّعَاتِ وَالقُرُوضِ الحَسَنَةِ.

إِنَّ مَشْرُوعُ دَارِ السَّلَامِ يُمَثِّلُ رُؤْيَةً طَمُوحَةً لِمُؤَسَّسَةٍ إِسْلَامِيَّةٍ وَطَنِيَّةٍ تُنَمِّي الإِيمَانَ، وَتُعَزِّزُ قُوَّةَ المُجْتَمَع، وَتُسْهِمُ إِسْهَامًا إِيجَابِيًّا فِي المُجْتَمَعِ الوِيلْزِيِّ كَكُلٍّ. إِنَّهَا فُرْصَةٌ لِبِنَاءِ مُسْتَقْبَلٍ لِلأَجْيَالِ القَادِمَةِ، وَاسْتِثْمَارٌ لِلْآخِرَةِ. فَلَا تُفَوِّتُوا فُرْصَةَ أَنْ تَكُونُوا جُزْءًا مِنْ هَذَا العَمَلِ العَظِيمِ.
